Having a Nosey With: Thyra Bankole on Being a Black Arts University Student
Graphic Design student, Thyra Bankole, chose to attend an arts university after finishing school and consequently discovered the lack of diversity in arts subjects across higher education. Upon finding herself to be the only black person on her course, she questioned why there is a lack of black women in the creative industry and set out to tackle this by creating Melanated Zine.
